Here’s a quick, live synopsis of the latest and biggest announcements from Microsoft’s E3 2013 Press Conference.

 

  • Metal Gear Solid 5 is coming to Xbox One, straight from Kojima-san’s mouth on stage.
  • “Smaller and sleeker” Xbox 360 will be available starting today
  • Starting in July, Xbox Gold members will get two free games a month starting with Assasin’s Creed 2 and Halo 3
  • World of Tanks MMO is coming the 360 – free-to-play for Gold members
  • Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is coming to Xbox 360
  • Ryse: Son of Rome for Xbox One – A brutal Roman era hack and slash title that uses the contoller. Will be available at launch.
  • Killer Instinct is back only on Xbox One
  • Insomniac’s Ted Price appeared on stage to announce Sunset Overdrive – exlusive title for Xbox One. The game looks to be a 4-Player Co-op parkour style combat game set in a cartoonish world
  • Forza 5 will use a new tech called Drive-Atar, a new AI routine that appears to use live players driving styles to generate AI routines that other players will race against
  • Minecraft is coming to Xbox One
  • D4 from Swery65 is┬ácoming to Xbox One
  • Project Spark allows for environment building and game level design using Kinect voice commands. Coming to Xbox One, this title appears to be a game creation tool set that allows users’ imaginations to flourish – uses Smart Glass
  • Microsoft announced a partnership with Twitch for users to instantly broadcast their in-game video footage
  • Xbox Live will move from using points for currency to real world cash. Also, anyone in your household can access Xbox Live with your live account
  • Crimson Dragon is now an Xbox One title
  • Dead Rising 3; Xbox One exclusive this holiday and appears to be a no-nonsense zombie masacre game with a greater emphasis on third-person shooting. The title will still have melee combat, driving, and artillary stikes
  • Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gameplay shown, promises 100s of hours of RPG goodness
  • Battlefield 4 for Xbox One will get DLC map packs first
  • Below appears to bring indie to Xbox One
  • Halo for Xbox One is coming 2014- will take advantage of the cloud service, dedicated servers, and will run in 60 frames per second
  • Respawn’s Titanfall – Mech combat and first person shooting that will take advantage of the cloud service for Xbox One, will be exclusive and will release Spring 2014
  • Xbox One will release in November for 499.99 USD
